WOLF Cell Sorter Accessories

The WOLF cell sorter has several accessories that provide additional capabilities to the instrument

N1 Single-Cell Dispenser Accessory

A module for the WOLF Cell Sorter to sort and dispense into 96-well or 384-well plates.
The N1 Single-Cell Dispenser revolutionizes applications that demand precise isolation, sorting, and dispensing of individual cells. Whether it’s B-cell identification for antibody discovery or monoclonal CHO cell line development, the N1 Single-Cell Dispenser simplifies these tasks significantly. Researchers can now streamline single-cell genomics assays by directly plating single cells into PCR plates, unlocking new possibilities for high-throughput analyses. Achieve unparalleled accuracy and efficiency is single cell dispensing with the N1 Single-Cell Dispenser and transform the way you approach critical applications that rely on single-cell isolation.

The N1 single-cell dispenser is ideal for a multitude of applications including single cell cloning and works seamlessly with the microfluidic-based WOLF cell sorter for easy single cell isolation, single cell analysis, and cell line development. The gentle low-pressure sorting mechanism and single cell manipulation preserve cell viability through the sorting process and provide higher outgrowth of healthy clones. Reduced stress via gentle microfluidic cell sorting (low throughput) process also avoids potential adverse gene expression or karyotype changes experienced with a traditional cell sorter.

The WOLF uses a small fraction of the sheath fluid used by traditional sorters, allowing users to use growth media as sheath. Using growth media as sheath greatly improves cell viability for cell isolation, FACS (fluorescence activated cell sorting) and overall flow cytometry analysis.

The WOLF provides 5 parameters for analyzing and sorting cells. When combined with the N1 Single-Cell Dispenser accessory, it allows higher rates in single cell detection in wells compared to cell printers or limited dilution methods. Deposition above 90-95% are routinely observed.

There is no need to be a flow cytometry expert in order to use the WOLF. The software interface is intuitive, user-friendly and simple. There is no fluidics cart, and the optics are fixed – resulting in less complexity, less clean-up, and more time for experiments.

Compared to a traditional flow cytometry lab setup, the robust, portable, sterile, and safe benchtop system can be used in any lab without the need for dedicated hoods, venting, or personnel. Light enough to be moved and shared. Small enough to have both the WOLF and the N1 single-cell dispenser placed in a biosafety cabinet.

CS1 Chiller-Stirrer Accessory

A module for the WOLF Cell Sorter to keep your samples and media cold prior to sorting.

Applications with temperature sensitive samples, such as Stem cells or Neuronal cells can be challenging to sort. Such applications would benefit from modules such as the CS1 Chiller-Stirrer by keeping both sheath fluid and sample at the desired temperature during the sorting process. This allows for a more desirable environment for temperature sensitive cells and increases viability of the sorted samples. Additional to the cooling mechanism, the CS1 Chiller-Stirrer can provide stir function for samples that settle quickly or aggregate. This will maintain single-cell suspension which will improve sort recovery and purity.

CX2 Collection Cooler Accessory

An accessory for the WOLF Cell Sorter to keep your cells cold after sorting.
The CX2 Collection Cooler keeps sorted cells at a safe 4 ±3°C for 75 minutes. When using three CX2s in sequentially, valuable cells are kept at the optimum temperature for viability for the entire duration (6 hours) of a bulk sorting run.

The easy-to-use CX2 Collection Cooler replaces the collection tube holder on the WOLF or WOLF G2 Cell Sorter. Used in conjunction with the CS1 Chiller-Stirrer, it enables to keep temperature-sensitive samples and sorted cells in an optimal environment for the entire workflow.
